FAQ

MailJive introduces the concept of teams to your organization's email, without having to share mailboxes. Users can share useful or important emails to a designated email account ("document source"), which MailJive accesses and makes available for searching.

This means information is preserved and remains available for everyone on your team, even through employee turnover
We support the most popular email platforms, including:
  • Gmail
  • Office 365 / Live / Outlook.com
  • IMAP
  • POP3
For Gmail and Office 365 email, you need to be able to sign in with your account and grant access to MailJive.

For traditional IMAP and POP3 email, you will need to get more information from your IT administrator, including: server, port, security settings, and account credentials
Each of our plans define the fees for actively-monitored feeds and archived feeds. This means that you will not be charged for storage size, the number of email documents stored, or the number of teams or users you have set up within your organization.
Yes, you can upgrade your subscription at any time. At this time, however, we do not support downgrading
We strive to meet or exceed industry standards, including (but not limited to):
  • Enforcing SSL / HTTPS secure web traffic
  • Data encryption
  • Web system and database security
  • Password strength and change protocols
While we focus on getting the platform right, we aren't yet focused on deliverying the mobile app, but we will sometime soon
Yes! Although our platform is designed for the cloud, it can be configured to run on your network, in your data center. Contact info@mailjive.com for more information
Each MailJive plan defines a base fee, the fee per actively-monitored feed, and the fee per archived feed. You can view the Plan Pricing page at https://mailjive.com/Home/Pricing, and use the Price Calculator to estimate your monthly cost.

An actively-monitored feed is an email account that is currently being monitored by MailJive, and the retrieved data made accessible for search within your organization.

An archived feed is an email account that was once monitored by MailJive, but is no longer, while the retrieved data is still accessible for search.
